Yes. Registration and the model exam are completely free. There is no fee at any stage.

Any student in Kerala who is in Class 8 this academic year, studying in the State syllabus in either English or Malayalam medium, and preparing for the NMMS exam.

Yes. The model exam is held for State syllabus students in both English and Malayalam medium. Choose your medium in the registration form and you will sit the paper in that medium.

Your Registration ID is shown on screen as soon as you submit the form. Keep it safe. When hall tickets are released, download yours from this website using that Registration ID. It carries your exam center, date and reporting time.

It follows the real NMMS pattern: a Mental Ability Test and a Scholastic Aptitude Test, 90 marks each, 180 in total, under timed conditions.

No. NMMS is a Government of India scholarship. This model exam is a practice test conducted by XandY Learning with the KSTU State Committee to help students prepare. It is not the official NMMS examination.
